This is an almost completely new unit. It was used for 3 hours and was taken back because the client could not afford the system because he declared bankruptcy.
Buy with confidence. This thing is great.
The XG mobile is Asus' proprietary external graphics solution. There are quite a few laptops and gaming handheld that can use this unit.
It is faster than the normal thunderbolt implementation of graphics cards because of more pcie lanes dedicated to the external gpu. It also comes with a port replicator built in so you will have ehternet, video, and more usb connections.
This turns any one of the compatible units into a powerhouse. Also the only way to play your asus rog ally, at maxed out settings. :)
